Tech Support Telephone scam message left as a comment on the FraudFYI blog from Teckassist 888-511-0014

THESE SCAMS ARE DANGEROUS!  Calling these phone numbers and giving them access to your computer allows them to install viruses and they can also access your secure information such as financial information, log-ins, passwords, contacts and more!  Some of these scams are also responsible for blackmail scams where they encrypt everything on your computer and then tell you if you pay them, they will restore your computer - they never do restore it!
